Local information. A little closer to home.

Longleaf Local is an independent, noncommercial community-information pilot. Harnett Signal and Franklin Signal bring useful local updates together, with a link back to the original source.

We’re starting with two North Carolina counties and a simple question: do residents find this useful enough to come back? There are no paid subscriptions, advertising, sponsors, affiliate links, or donations during the pilot.

Automation helps collect and organize permitted public information. Sensitive or uncertain information is held for human review. A source being official does not make every statement complete or final; updates and corrections remain part of the record.
